B road route following quieter roads towards Edenbridge. Leaving Tonbridge high street following route to Hildenborough and then taking road through Leigh village, Penshurst, Chiddingstone towards Edenbridge. A few short hills along the way to Four Elms. The route then turns away from Edenbridge towards Ide Hill before taking the route back via the lovely Bough Beech nature reserve. This route turns back on itself until Leigh. Then follow a right turn by the shops/petrol station and passed the train station. The road between Leigh and Tonbridge is undulating and rural and passes the off road Tonbridge to Penshurst cycle route (not suitable for road bikes). The road goes under the A21 at the bottom of Brooks street and finally joins the main road into Tonbridge at the Shell garage at Quarry Hill. | |
